Ed joined Emerald in 2001 and has 30+ years of experience in the hospitality industry. Ed is responsible for overseeing the overall operation, performance, owner relations and capital improvement planning for all properties in the Emerald portfolio. Ed also plays a pivotal role in the strategic planning for the organization working closely with the corporate team to implement innovative solutions and programs that benefit the overall profitability and quality of our portfolio of hotels. His experience and industry knowledge provide a foundation for the company’s core strength of providing high quality results for its employees, owners, and partners.
Prior to being appointed to COO, Ed was the Vice President of Operations for Emerald Hospitality where he provided direct mentorship and leadership to a group of high performing General Managers and hotel teams in all aspects of hotel operations and revenue generation.
Under Ed’s leadership the hotels he oversees have achieved a multitude of industry awards from several different brands and organizations.
