Kris has twenty-three successful years working in hotel management and sales. Seventeen of those years she has served for Emerald Hospitality. In those seventeen years, she served as the Sales Manager for three of Emerald’s Ohio hotels: the Hampton Inn Newcomerstown, the Hampton Inn Youngstown, and the Hampton Inn New Philadelphia. She was promoted to the General Manger position at the Hampton Inn New Philadelphia in December of 2004.
During her time at the Hampton Inn New Philadelphia, Kris served on the Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Tuscarawas Metropolitan Housing Board of Directors. She is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Tuscarawas, and only one of ten recipients to receive the prestigious Tuscarawas County Business leaders under 40 award.
Kris lives in New Philadelphia, Ohio. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dave and three daughters Grace, Emilee, and Sara. She loves watching her girls grow and accomplish their goals. Whether it be academics, music, sports, or life in general, she is their biggest fan.
