We are excited to announce that our Design, Procurement & Capital Project team at Emerald Hospitality is embarking on a journey to renovate and revitalize several of our properties in 2023. Our goal is to provide guests with an enhanced experience by updating both the public areas and guest rooms of our properties. Our project team is responsible for planning and overseeing the extensive renovation and revitalization process at each of our managed properties. Our team of experts provides consultation and planning for all aspects of a hotel renovation. This includes leveraging our strategic alliances with experienced hospitality architects and construction firms, which culminates in a superior finished product that will continue to enhance the experience of our guests for many years. In 2023 we will be in different stages of the renovation process at multiple hotels in our portfolio but below is just a sample of some of the improvements already, or soon to be, underway in 2023.
First on our list is the Hilton Garden Inn Syracuse, where the hotel will be undergoing a complete bathroom renovation which also includes the conversion of the existing closets into an open concept design that is more functional and efficient for guests. The public areas of the hotel will be updated with a complete redesign of the Lobby and breakfast areas including the addition of Hilton’s signature “Shop” area. Other key guest areas slated for improvement include the meeting space, exercise facility and pool areas which will all receive a full refresh.
The Hilton Garden Inn Auburn NY is next in line with work commencing in February. The hotel will receive similar upgrades in the public areas to our Syracuse property. There will be an entire refresh of the Lobby and breakfast areas including the implementation of the Hilton signature “Shop” area. All meeting spaces including the guestroom corridors will receive new flooring, wall covering, lighting and artwork. These renovations will bring a new level of elegance and sophistication to the property, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests that are visiting the beautiful wine country of the Finger Lakes. This property is not done either and we are proud to announce that we will start planning in 2023 for what will be a full guest room refresh at the property taking place in 2024.
In the first quarter of 2023 we will be wrapping up some previous renovation projects as we continue work at the Hilton Garden Inn Wallingford with a complete refresh of our meeting area and guestroom corridors. This is the final piece in phase 1 of our renovations at this property that have recently included a complete lobby and bar refresh along with the implementation of the signature Hilton “Shop”. We have more to come for this hotel as well so look for future announcements.
